Merchandise. You love to buy it. No matter what you are selling (music, books, soap, etc.) I think it’s a good idea to have some sort of merchandise to sell to your customers. It doesn’t need to be anything expensive, sometimes a simple pen with your logo on it can go a long way.

Ok, here’s the recipe I use that helped me make some of my biggest, best and most successful marketing plans. I’m going to use music as my example.
Where To Begin
If you take anything away from this post, it’s this…IT TAKES TIME. I know that is the last thing you want hear. I know that song you just wrote is burning a hole in your guitar and I know you have gifts you want to sell to the world but my friend I’m hear to tell you, marketing, GOOD marketing, takes time. If you want something done right, you have to take a step back and plan. Plan like you have never planned before.
